The trailer fairing is modular in design to accommodate desired coverage. The multiple panel design allows easy replacement and may minimize the number of components required. Eco-Flaps® are mud flaps designed to channel water spray and direct wind to flow smoothly through the flaps.
The aerodynamic curved design of these flaps are engineered so that each vertical bar in the flap makes contact with the water and channels it to the small dead space on the back side of the flap. The water then forms drops and falls to the ground. The same curved wing-type design directs the wind to flow smoothly through the flap, creating far less drag than traditional mud flaps. Reducing water spray creates safer passing in rain and wet conditions. Improving your wind resistance can make a drastic improvement on the overall efficiency of your truck. With Eco-Flaps®, the average annual fuel savings is 3.5%.

AIRTAB® FUEL SAVERs
Airtab® Fuel Savers are small, efficient wishbone shaped vortex generators that are a practical and cost-effective solution to the problem of suction or “base pressure” aerodynamic drag at the back of large vehicles and at the tractor/trailer gap.
Delivering fuel savings in the 2% to 5% range, Airtabs offer several safety benefits and have been tested in test track, wind tunnel and over-the-road evaulations. Airtabs™ are quick and easy to install, and are mounted 3 per linear foot, or every 4 inches on center. Take the number of feet to be covered and multiply by 3 to give the number of Airtabs™ required. Airtabs™ are approximately (in inches) 3.5 wide, 5 long and 1 high. Each Airtab® creates two counter rotating solid body vortices that combine to reduce drag at vehicle rears and at tractor/trailer gaps. Airtabs™ are also effective at the rear roof lines of automobiles that have a rear window slope of greater than 30 degrees.
